Autumn has to be one of our favorite seasons. A chance to pull out the comfy knitwear, knee high boots and switch up those sun-kissed highlights for something altogether moodier. If you want to make like Beyonce and treat your tresses to honey inspired browns, then stick around!

Your next dye job awaits and we’ve got the lowdown on how to keep that hue so your color lasts longer than the autumn leaves currently falling from the trees.

These are just some of our favorite trend predictions for fall 2020 and beyond. Some of these colors sound good enough to eat and one thing is for sure, they sure will make you look fabulously sexy and sweet.

Cinnamon Ombre

How about Bey’s fave? It’s known as a Cinnamon Ombre. It’s a delicious warm brunette tone that works well on medium brunettes and provides a pop of warmth and color around the face to instantly brighten a sallow autumnal complexion.

This color also gives the added illusion of thickness and fullness too. No wonder Queen Bey loves it so much. Even the effortlessly chic Jessica Alba has opted for ombre blends to update her look this fall.

To maintain this sweet hue, make sure you opt for a deeply moisturizing shampoo that’s sulfate, sodium chloride and paraben free. You really can’t go wrong with N4’s Hydrating Shampoo, a luxurious, beauty enhancing shampoo that lavishes color treated hair with natural, moisturizing, repairing ingredients and smells like a chic Parisian boutique.

Mushroom Blonde

We’re predicting this will be a hot autumnal trend. Think less golden than a “bronde” and all together a diriter and earthier look that looks just fabulous with some lighter ombre highlights strategically woven in.

Jessica Biel is your go-to-gal when it comes to dirty brunette vibes and Blake Lively too has ditched her trademark high society blonde this season and is currently enjoying her mushroom blonde moment. It’s a very flattering shade and works on anyone straddling that bridge between Blonde and Brunette.

To keep this color looking fresh and never dreary, be sure to use a shine infusing oil like N4’s Fluoro5 Elixer Repair & Restore to impart lightweight, illuminating lustre to this dirty blonde look.

Rooted Blonde

Let’s face it, we’ve all experimented (consciously or not!) with a more “rooted” hair color look in 2020. Stints in quarantine have meant less frequent visits to our colorists resulting in more of our natural hair color coming through. Little surprise then, that the rooted blonde look has become a “thing”. It’s lower maintenance and a great way to transition tonally into autumn; a flattering way for your hair and skin tone to embrace that fading summer tan. Sofia Richie has long embraced this aesthetic and we’ve seen everyone from Ashley Benson to Kristen Stewart owning and embracing their darker roots.

Golden Black

Finally, we’re predicting almost-black brunettes will go golden this Fall. It’s a step away from those purple eggplant tones and instead channels a richer undertone that delivers an intense and dazzling effect. The weather might be frightful but with this golden black trend, your strands will be radiant and you’ll emit an ethereal, almost “halo-like” glow. From Meghan Markle to Lizzo, it’s all about owning lovely, luscious locks with this glamorous and regal hue that’s fit for real life and pop Princesses!

To help maintain your royal color looking stronger for longer, treat your hair to a weekly, deeply conditioning mask like N4’s Reconstructing Hair Masque, designed to rejuvenate, repair and restore color treated hair.
