The half braid, half pony
Love a French braid but don’t have the time to sit and do it? No problem!
This style is a quick fix that still allows you to have the beautiful criss-crossing of the French braid that’s finished off with a high pony.
Start by making two French braids as if you are going to have them on either side of your head, but once you get to the crown of your head secure each plait with a little band. You’re then going to want to gather all your hair and lift it into a high pony which can be made neat or messy!
Finish off with N4’s Mighty Hair Spray to help your uncontrollable hair stay put in the humidity.
The messy half-up twist
What’s a good way of hiding your uncontrollable hair? Disguising it in a messy half up bun!
This seriously cute hairstyle will get those pesky baby hairs off your face and scraped back in a little bun, but the beauty of this style is there are no rules to making it look neat.
Leave half of your hair down (if it’s looking a little messy don’t worry! It adds to the look) and you can even add in N4’s Sugar Texturizing Spray for a gentle wave.
Beforehand, put N4’s Blow Dry Lotion on damp hair to help tame your flyaways.
The fish tail braid
The fish tail braid is like an extra chic French braid, but rather than using 3 strands of hair you use 2.
The braid doesn’t start at the top of your hair either, it starts at the nape of your neck and offers a more modern and trendier look when styled to one side of your neck. As you’re criss-crossing each strand, try not to tightly pull it together as your uncontrollable hair will add to the cute messy look.
If you have any shorter sections at the front, leave these out and add a slight curl to them. Use N4’s Super Comb Prep & Protect on freshly washed damp hair to add protection before using any heat.
The voluminous pony
The voluminous pony means you don’t need to spend time perfecting a smooth and sleek look.
Gather your hair and secure it high, and backcomb underneath the pony to create heaps of volume. Your uncontrollable hair will complement this look nicely as the two are the perfect partners.
Finish the look with N4’s Sugar Texturizing Spray to add a beach-wavy texture, and of course a glossy shine that all girls desire.
