First things first…
Let’s start from the very beginning – with shampoo and conditioner! Your shower routine is integral to achieving curl perfection. If your hair is suffering from product build-up, wash hair with Clarifying Shampoo and be sure to shampoo, rinse, and repeat until you get a rich lather. For a little extra oomph, Volumizing Shampoo and Condition will give you beautiful, natural movement without over-exaggerated volume. For strands that are parched, Hydrating Shampoo and Condition are a thirst quencher. But if that’s not enough to rehydrate, you can bring your curls back to life by replacing Condition with Reconstructing Masque.
Now, let’s discuss the technique…
To find the products that are best for your individual curl type, jump to the section below that best describes your hair. We’ve got you covered!
The Look: Soft, Evenly Sculpted Curls
Work product or product cocktails (see below) through hair and twist curls into shape (like ringlets). You can place them in alternating directions or the same direction depending on your desired result. Diffuse, lifting hair gently to give volume. After hair is 75-80% dry, break up the curls. Scrunch and continue to diffuse hair until it’s almost dry. If you’re after more sculpted curls, use rollers to set hair or finger set hair with pink curl clips and place under dryer.
